The CALLISTO eye touch screen is suitable for use in sterile conditions and acts as a central interface to control the surgical microscope and view diagnostic images in the OR. CALLISTO eye also boasts innovative assistance functions that enable you to operate with maximum precision.

IDIS for display assistant functions

CALLISTO eye and IDIS (Integrated Data Injection System) with the OPMI Lumera 700 allow you to view visual assistance functions such as incision and rhexis assistant and the toric IOLs alignment feature Z ALIGN^®. These features are displayed directly in the eyepiece of the surgical microscope, allowing for less movements and greater precison during the surgery.

Integrated assistant microscope

An integrated assistant microscope with no light loss for the main surgeon. Features a zoom function that can be synchronized with the main surgical microscope or controlled separately. It’s excellent for teaching, or for difficult procedures requiring two surgeons.

The integrated HD Recorder (1080p) can be operated by the foot control panel or handgrip of the microscope head.
Patient names can be easily assigned to video data.
The videos and still images are transferred directly to a USB storage media or to a shared directory in the Local Area Network (LAN Storage).

To support the OR staff with surgical microscope images, the integrated 22'' HD monitor has a wide viewing angle and can be positioned very flexibly. The OR team can observe the procedure in sharp and colorful images.
The images of the integrated video solution can be connected to secondary monitors or other video systems in the OR using standard video interfaces.
The built-in HD video camera is aligned with the CALLISTO eye enabling valuable assistance functions.

External Video Components

To support all requirements or wishes for customized video solutions, external components can be mounted to the surgical microscope system. The external attachment via standard optical and mechanical interfaces increases the flexibility and retrofitability of the surgical microscopes.
